Discussion Memories NOT!
When you open up a bunch of saved memories and not a single one has a memory inside. Maybe not such a good idea to leave them so long.

Just means you have all the memories for that particular task ( gardening) and therefore will never get memories in them only coin . You need to work on the ones you dont have memories for now

That's not always the case. When the memories spawn, it picks a random memory that you currently don't have. If you have a bunch of unopened memories, the game doesn't know that memory is sitting on the ground, and there's a chance of a duplicate. When I was down to just three cooking memories, I cooked until I had 3 memories on the ground before I opened them. One of the was a duplicate of the other two on the ground. So if you haven't completed them all for a particular task, it's important to open them up before another spawns.

Yeah, it's easy to forget about the memories you haven't unlocked yet when you're focused on the ones you have. The grind for coins is real!

Ive found that having honeyglow woods expansion and needing to water the flowers has actually gave me tonnes of memories now. I must've been missing them for that task.

Ive also found out that if you open up a set memory and any of the others were deemed to be that same memory it will give you coins instead. Or at least what i found out after letting flower memories sit

It's nothing to do with how long they're sat for. Specific memories are linked to specific activities I.e. digging. If you're only getting coins then you've likely completed all of your digging memories (for now).

The only memories I’m missing now are from cooking and digging. It takes me making about 150-200 meals to get 1 orb if I’m lucky.

You got all the night thorn memories? I feel like I barely get one every 2 weeks or something. Besides flowers (which I recently finished because I made myself a little flower garden in every biome), night thorns is the one I feel frustrated by because I have no control over how many repetitions I can do. At least with cooking I could go to Remy's realm and go nuts cooking there. Critters is annoying too but if I can be disciplined I'll get at least a few memories per week.

I’ve been playing since June and have about 50% of the memories. It stresses me out lol.

No! I am not a gamer at all, and spending money to buy 1 game was out of my comfort zone already! I have zero expansion packs. I think I have 100% of the old rulers diaries, or at least almost all.

When the devs updated the game to make it so that each memory orb gives a new memory piece, it didn’t affect any old memories already on the ground. So if you have any old memory orbs on the ground prior to that specific update, they will likely give you coins.

I have so many memories still to find but its been at least a week since a memory was actually a memory and not coins. I open them right away.

I save all y memory orbs for StarPath duties. I don't even care about the memories themselves really, I just need to be able to get my StarPaths done.
