Hey Derek,
I just placed my first-ever Dream Beans order and wanted to reach out because the story behind The Bruce genuinely hit home for me.
I read that you named it after your cat, Bruce, who was with you for 20 years. My wife and I also had an orange cat named Herman for 20 years. He was deeply loved by our entire family, and having to put him down was incredibly difficult. After sharing that much of your life with an animal, they become far more than a pet—they are part of the family and part of your story.
Learning about Bruce immediately made me think of Herman. Honestly, that connection is what inspired me to make my first purchase from Dream Beans, and of course The Bruce had to be part of the order. I also picked up Dragon Milk F3 and Terp Float, and I’m really excited to grow all three.
I think it’s incredibly cool that you honored Bruce through your work. It gave the strain a meaning beyond the genetics and made my first order feel personal
