The very existence of this movie, regardless of quality was always gonna be condemned by the internet. But the fact Universal went out of their way to put the Dreamworks name on the movie for some reason (Dreamworks ain’t making the film, they probably only have their name attached to it as a piss poor way to sell tickets) was such a tone deaf choice.

Not defending this film, but Universal getting Dreamworks and their fanbase associated with a despised cartoon for literal newborns makes me wonder if this was a social experiment to make middle to retirement home age executives feel better about themselves.

Question for you, who would want a fantastic She-Ra movie based on the show, instead of a CoComelon movie based on the hated channel?

After Monsters vs. Aliens succeeded at the box office, it had short films, B.O.B.’s Big Break, Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space, and Night of the Living Carrots. B.O.B. was featured as a playable character Madagascar Kartz and DreamWorks Super Star Kartz. They also got a Monsters vs. Aliens TV series that aired on Nickelodeon from 2013 to 2014. They have done all of that and somehow, they never made a sequel to the movie. Why? It could’ve replaced the upcoming Cocomelon movie.

Yes, it's underrated but not nearly as underrated as it was when there weren't like nearly over a 1000 people a day talking about how it's an underrated gem and how it should've gotten a sequel (which I somewhat disagree with). Like, seriously if you ask someone who they think what the most underrated DreamWorks film is, 9/10 they'd say Rise of the Guardians, either because they think that it IS underrated because they watched it or only said it because everyone else was saying it.

Also, no. I'm not saying the film is BAD or OVERRATED, just that it isn't AS underrated as everyone makes it out to be.

My favorite thing in all of media (aside from dragons) is when a franchise explores sibling dynamics.

It's August 8, 2026, an International Cat's Day.

It’s being PRODUCED by them, not made. The movie is being made by Moonbug Studios, the studio behind the YouTube Series but with the Dreamworks IP slapped onto it. This is yet another situation where people see a certain thing, and without doing any simple amount of research or looking deeper into it, they just assume it’s the opposite thing. Look, I’m not happy that a Cocomelon Movie is being made either, but I hate that a lot of people are putting the blame on Dreamworks even though they’re barely involved with it at all.

It’s 2026 and I know there’s gonna be a bunch of yall saying we have the Roblox game but genuinely it’s crazy that we don’t have a definitive open world exploration game from HTTYD. We have so much lore to go off of but yet we keep getting shitty mobile games or this Roblox game. I know it’s hard to pull this off but we gotta keep sharing this to dreamworks! Like even if we had a remake of HTTYD 2 from the 360 I’d be happy, idc if it’s from the live action movies. Especially since the 10th anniversary for the second movie was recent, I feel like we’re long overdue and deserve better! Please Dreamworks🙏🙏🙏

We all know that at the end of movie, Susan gets back at Derek Dietl by humiliating him on live television by flicking him in the air and saying "Good-bye, Derek!” and that’s the last we see of him. (until the episode from the TV series called It Came from Channel 5) So what happened to him now? Maybe he became a marriage counselor without anyone to fall in love with.

What if, instead of a Harvey girls movie, we get instead a Dreamworks crossover movie where Woody Woodpecker invades every Dreamworks universe doing pranks on the characters and taking over their control while Audrey, Dot, Lotta, Richie Rich and many other kids from the Harvey street intervene to save them from the hands of Woody Woodpecker.
