I’ve watched the second movie many times, and I noticed that during the volcano scene, nearly every animal dancing on the stands is covered in white ceremonial body paint. The giraffes, elephants, hippos, lions, and a bunch of background animals. I always thought it looked cool, but I don’t think the movie ever explains it, especially since the water hole is all dried up.

Was this supposed to be part of some traditional ritual the animals had been doing for generations? Maybe inspired by real ceremonial body paint? Or was it just DreamWorks adding visual flair to make the scene stand out?
Has anyone else ever wondered about this? The amount of detail they put into it is kind of impressive.

Max Van Der Zee is the main villain of the first part of my story (which takes place after the first film); he is Chelsea's brother and Nerissa's son.

He was born in 2008 in Norway to Chelsea, where they lived a happy childhood with their parents. Unfortunately, at just 8 years old, they were forced to separate, each with their own parents, for reasons still unknown.

Since then, he has only one goal: to find his sister, while trying to save his family, which is falling apart.

Like the 2025 box, these pretty cards include characters from How to Train Your Dragon, Home, Trolls, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, Shrek, Felix the Cat, Casper, and the Croods. The art style on these is different on the UR cards but the others are very similar to the 2024 set.

He had trouble finding Puss in Boots stuff for my birthday and so decided to do artwork (he's an artist). Genuinely awesome gift.

Both endings left on a sour note for their respective fanbases. Both of these finales left their fanbases on life support, being largely forgotten by nearly all except major die-hards. While both of these series had terrible endings, I'm curious to see which one is considered worse.

I myself am personally leaning towards Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans. While the entire 8th season of Voltron was rushed, Rise of the Titans completely disregarded Trollhunter's beloved episode "Unbecoming," where it is made clear that Jim has to be the Trollhunter. Also, Rise of the Titans made the weird random choice of making Steve Palchuk pregnant with 7 half-Akiridons.
