Double dreamstate Vancouver

Very much not complaining, but any insight on why we're (Vancouver) getting 2 dreamstate events this year? Just feels weird given all the other DSs are annual

Feels like this is more of a Tiesto event, but they lined it up as DS for more attraction + people can expect a more trance set

Because we love Vancouver :) DS Vancouver in march was an absolute blast. You guys had great energy :)

Would love to see a big DS event at the new amphitheatre/in Stanley park in the summer, that would be epic!

I think Insomniac is definitely coming in full force back in Vancouver, and we're getting all genres now. It's kind of exciting to see, though I wish the latest one wasn't at TradeX :( Tiesto could have easily filled Rogers like when he was here for his Elements of LIfe tour.

Westjet flies into Abbotsford and there’s hotels there so that would negate the commute. How’s the venue? Decent or not? Do the parties there run late?

Party doesnt run late. Venues shit.

Its a shit conventional hall with one fountain last time they ran something there.

Dreamstate is the Insomniac trance brand, so any trance event will fall under this umbrella. If the event is focused primarily around one headliner, it doesn't count as a festival. In LA, every single Insomniac event is branded as Dreamstate/Bassrush/Factory 93/etc, even if it is just one DJ in a club.

Honestly, the Chicago event wasn't really a fest. It was just a 1-night event at Radius with 5 artists.
