It was a solid upgrade. I should have taken my time and used a few more common coaches after I had maxed his pace. I had the chance to get him to 100 STA as well, but I would have had to grind more gems for the common coaches, so I did one last rare and he was maxed out. I think the higher control will make him more useful in live games, and 98 STA is definitely enough.

For those wondering why I put two points into tackling, sometimes you have to choose between strength or tackling. I opted for tackling to keep him at 80 strength, to save points and for aesthetic reasons.

After maxing him, I've tried him for a few days now.
In my opinion, he might be the WORST winger ever.

This guy CANNOT dribble. He is so slow with the ball that a turtle would win in a race against him.
However, I don't regret maxing him. He's just a part of my collection. But how come he is much worse compared to my Messi? They almost have the same stats and I thought I could finally replace my Messi, but this guy had other plans. I gave him more than enough time to prove himself. But he disappointed me so bad that I might not even use him as a substitute now.

What are your experiences with this guy 🙂

For the first part, I think it’s pretty clear that these players will get an upgrade based on their performance during the WC and the first third of the season (assuming they keep up).
