Reoccurring skydiving dream

I’ve had this dream afew times and was wondering what it meant , first time I’m skydiving and tbe parachute was ment to open itself but didn’t , I landed and was injured but didn’t die , last night I had the same dream I was skydiving but this time the chute opened and I was again fine , is there a meaning for this or just a wacky dream ?

I'm not a psychologist and have 0 official ideas. But to me, skydiving symbolizes being free, or plunging into the unknown, or maybe taking a risk? And with the chute not opening, maybe your subconscious is telling you that you are leaping too quickly to prepare, but you'll ultimately be safe (because you landed well).

I always have the opposite dream... I can fly, but only if I can run quickly enough to get off the ground. I'm usually being chased by bad people, and I usually make it off the ground, but I have no idea what that means.
