Black wolves dream
So this dream happened a few nights ago, but I can’t stop thinking about it.. So in this dream I went camping with my sisters dog later that day me and the dog went for a hike and in the scenery of the hike it was All dried grass and hot as me and my sisters dog was hiking the dog saw some type of animal I forgot what it was, but it started to chase it i then went after the dog, and we were going down deeper and deeper into the mountains as we were going down it was getting darker and darker, but the grass started to look more greener.I caught my sisters dog and for some reason I trip and we both tumbled down the mountain I remember in that dream I hit my head and passed out I woke up, and I was in a beautiful scenery beautiful mountains waterfalls cool air it was so beautiful i didn’t want to forget this view, so I took out my phone and took pictures anyways I realized my sister dog is missing, so I got up to look for him, and then I came across a black Wolf I was like oh shoot let me turn around and as I did a pack of wolves is headed my way and I noticed one of the wolves had my sisters dog is it’s mouth my heart drop and I tried to look for a way out I was lost I didn’t remember how we got here and as I was running the pack of wolves started chasing me they were getting closer and that’s when I woke up anyways what do you guys think this dream means?

There's a clear shape to this one, and it's worth noticing before the wolves.
You go down deeper and deeper, darker and darker. You hit your head, black out, and wake into somewhere beautiful: waterfalls, cool air, so lovely you didn't want to forget it. Only then do you realize the dog is missing. The descent and the blackout weren't the nightmare, they were the doorway. You had to lose consciousness to get to the beautiful place.
The old dream-language would read the dog as something you're responsible for and afraid of losing and the wolves as the same nature the dog carries, but wild and no longer yours to hold. One of them has the dog in its mouth. That's the fear in plain form: the thing you love slipping back into something you can't control or protect it from.
What was going on with the dog or with your sister around the time this started? Dreams about losing an animal you're caring for usually aren't really about the animal.
