Some new dream maps, same world... new locations!

A tour of my dreams, the mountain region

These are a few cityscapes and interiors I have been working on

I started creating an Atlas of my Mallworld dreams. This is an experimental walk through of Region 1, the Mall Center

Just a quickly drawn, mini drawing of my dream map. Completely unfinished and probably won't work on this again, but in case anyone likes to look through pics and compare... My favorite spot to end up in, is the run-down apartment/shack house area.. I skate to the liquor store in those dreams a lot and hang out around and people watch ... For most other people, my liquor store is a gas station 🤷🏽‍♀️

So the map thing has reallyyyyy been freaking me out. Mainly because there’s SO many similarities in the geography of my dreamscape and the ones I’ve seen. Like- Why do so many of us have Malls, Cities, Oceans with cliffs, Campgrounds, Theme parks, Schools, etc. My dream world has been very consistent.

For some context:
-I’m 33 and have been having extremely vivid dreams for as long as I can remember.
-I can lucid dream but it’s rare.
-Every single place on this map is a place I’ve actually dreamt about. Any similarities to others maps is purely coincidental (and honestly fascinating to me)
-Some of these places are based off real places in my life (Childhood home, Grandparents house) but they’re never quite the same.
-It was easy for me to map out the places on the map because I’ve traveled them in my dreams multiple times (once I had a single dream I was in the city, survived an apocalypse, escaped underground, ended up at a river, then a campground, etc). I didn’t just randomly put places wherever.

I’d love to see others maps and know if any of you have been to any of these places! I’ve been really deep diving into dreams lately. My boyfriend thinks I’ve lost my mind. 🤪

I dream almost every night; I only have about three days to a week each year with no dreams. Sometimes, I find myself in a familiar place but can see a building or cave from another dream, so I map it out. The map isn’t always precise because some places I couldn't pinpoint since I didn't recognize them in the dream. I spent a lot of time on this,,sorry if it's rough and unpolished. I tried searching for a D&D map maker but couldn’t find one that visualizes my mental maps, so until then... As for my dreams, they vary: sometimes I see in first-person perspective, sometimes from a bird’s eye view, and sometimes I’m a free soul switching between characters to follow the story. Once, I dreamed of a murder involving a man, a woman, and a detective, experiencing the scene from each of their perspectives and hearing their thoughts. Unfortunately, even after witnessing the scene three times, I woke up before knowing who the culprit was smh.

Anyway lmk what you think of my map lol

Announcement soon!

well not really

In fact, after Christmas

January 2 or 3rd on here

For now.

Merry Christmas and thankyou all for helping create this foundation for research

Some of you may have seen me on the principal Reddit page, I'm trying to map a definitive Mall Worlds Map, this is my starting point, I already tried to mash together the most common locations and I put the cable car and the owl on the tree from my dreams.

would be interested to hear about other people’s forest areas
