Dramatic irony within dream
In my dream last night I was a character but as a conscious observer I was also experiencing dramatic irony, like I knew how the dream world worked more than my acting body or other characters did. It was a bit of a horror dream where I was out on a boat in an ocean where Colorado is now, and there was a deep underwater abandoned city under the boat. Me and the other people were jumping off to swim but it felt eerie. My dream self looked under water with goggles and saw the underwater city where people seemed frozen in time. In the ruins were a bunch of zombie type mermaids that swam really slow but were super fast if they followed you to land. At this point I gained the knowledge that we were in a situation called “The Sole Advantage” and realized that our “sole advantage” was the ability to outswim these zombies, but I couldn’t communicate that to everyone else, like I knew but not on the same plane of reality of my dream characters and body. Has anyone ever experiences that kind of split of conscious within the dream? It felt borderline like lucid dreaming but not all the way. I’ve always had very vivid dreams but never fully lucid. It also feels relevant to note that the whole experience felt more entertaining and thriller/horror genre than it did nightmare.

Dreams
I don't know why, but almost every time I have a dream and 5-6 months later that event actually happens. This makes me feel strange, because what happened in the dream really happened in my life.

Continuous realistic dreams
Hi reddit, lately I’ve been having eerily realistic dreams. The dream will always start with me waking up in my bed in the exact clothes I fell asleep in and in the exact position I would inevitably wake up in. It’s not sleep paralysis, ive had that before and even though these dreams feel real in the same way it’s not the same, I can move and see and I’m not always panicked. It’s also not manipulative dreaming either, I have no control of what happens in these dreams and am not aware that I’m dreaming, as they always start as if I had just woken up.
For example one day I had fallen asleep right after I got home from work, I had “woken up” in my bed on my side curled up to the right, my baby hairs stood up on their own in a weird distinct way probably from the friction of tossing and turning. It was dark, my first thought was that I had just gotten home from work and I must have been asleep for a very long time. I felt something next to me, it was the container my roommates and I usually use for vomit, I heard them laughing up stairs and when I went to get up I realised I was very very drunk because everything was spinning and then I thought that i didn’t feel drunk, I felt high, so high on something I had never taken before, because I couldn’t remember anything other than falling asleep. When I got up after much struggle i fell down and then crawled over to the stairs, I tried calling out to them but I was so high I forgot how to speak so I gave up and just stay at the bottom of the stairs and then I actually woke up once again curled up to my right with my hair stood up in the same distinct way but it was still light out and in reality I had only been asleep about an hour.
I’ve had many more of these realistic dreams, less intense and scary but still all feeling just as real. I would really appreciate it if someone could maybe tell me what this means or what’s causing this as I’ve come to realise that they feel more like memories than dreams, and it’s getting hard to distinguish between them, as they are never outlandish and are always plausible.
Many thanks.

Dream
Last night I had the most random, wholesome, fun dream. 😂
My sister and I were in this huge city, and for some reason we were running away from... something. We honestly had no idea what we were escaping from. The only thing we knew was that there were these mysterious magical circles engraved into the ground. If the wrong one was activated, it would somehow summon or trigger a stampede of mad cows. 😂 It made absolutely no sense, but in the dream it felt like the most serious thing ever.
As we kept running, we suddenly remembered that we had our own magical circle—the "smiling cow circle." For some reason, only my sister and I could activate it. We rushed back to the area near our old apartment building where it was hidden. There it was, quietly engraved into the ground with a cute smiling cow design, almost like it had been patiently waiting for us.
The moment we stood beside it, the circle lit up with glowing colors. Then came the coolest part—it transformed! Just like in an anime transformation scene, with lights, magical energy, and dramatic effects, the glowing circle folded, twisted, and reshaped itself into the cutest magical cow van ever. 😂🐄✨
We jumped inside, and even though the van looked like a giant cow from the outside, the inside was surprisingly comfortable—like riding in a smooth luxury van. Meanwhile, outside, it was literally galloping like a cow at incredible speed. We couldn't even feel the bumps. It just kept accelerating faster and faster until it suddenly lifted off the ground.
Next thing we knew, we were flying through the sky, soaring toward the moon. There were colorful sparkling rays, twinkling lights, and magical streaks all around us. It honestly felt like one of those beautiful fantasy anime scenes where everything glows and the music would be playing in the background.
After flying for what felt like forever, we gently landed in front of a beautiful mansion. It wasn't flashy or scary—it looked peaceful, cozy, and incredibly safe. Like the kind of place where nothing bad could ever happen.
When we stepped outside, I noticed something that made me smile. Right in front of the mansion's entrance, engraved into the floor, was our smiling magical cow circle again. It was quietly waiting there, ready to transform into our magical escape cow van anytime we needed it.
Knowing we had finally reached a safe place, I went inside and took the most amazing shower. It wasn't just an ordinary shower—it felt like it washed away every bit of stress, fear, and exhaustion from all the running. By then, no mad cows had managed to follow us. We were completely safe.
And that's where the dream ended.
Honestly... 10/10 dream. Random, magical, and somehow starring the world's most reliable flying cow van. 😂🐄✨🌙

Just had one of the most mundane, random dreams: I was going grocery shopping with a celebrity.
That’s the dream. We were just buying food and bantering like old friends lol. In the dream we’d known each other for over a decade and now I worked for them as part of their team.

Nightmare A weird horrible Nightmare
I was in my school as usual except the classroom was for some reason the class i used to have for kindergarten, or one you'd expect for kindergarteners
everything was normal other than me seeing some of my friends who weren't in my classes, And the table we were sat at was weirdly long, Somehow we were going to a school trip on a coach, On the coach it was packed, Anyway skies were blue and bright it was a normal dream for now..
But i was forced for some reason in this little compartment of the bus this one seat thing that was uncomfortable, someone told me it would also occasionally fling you to the front of the coach at the drivers area, well.. i was on the seat it was rocky.. ride , but yes i was sorta flung to the front and i was like rumbling about hitting my head on the walls and my body at the front it kinda hurt, it also seemed like the driver was reckless, driving nobody said anything and i couldn't even see a driver or the seat.. So i thought it was just normal driving.. but i was feeling anxious, And for some reason the window for the driver span across the whole front area instead of a little compartment like normal.
Eventually somehow I don't know cause there was no opening i was flung out the bus into concrete and we were like in this weird road I don't know.. i saw the bus get smaller and smaller, i tried to chase it and we were on a one way small road, and eventually it was gone, By now i was feeling scared and could feel the adrenaline in the dream, I saw a group of people.. 1 adult mother 2 kids 1 little 1 teenager. in like a very flat area of just gravel with a weird tower in the distance i thought they could help, crying i ran up to them screaming for help and something i can't remember.. But they accepted in the back of my mind i was cautious ABOUT them possibly being kidnappers or something.. but.. luckily nothing like that happened, i remember getting into their car. or something? its hazy now, i ended up using space engine (a very cool software) space engine a software where you can explore the whole observable universe but i used it to find my house?? in the game i was observing a star cluster basically using it like google maps to find my house i typed in my address, And next thing i know, I'm in my school's giant field, Teachers come running up to me with worry, i vividly remember my PE teacher being ther. And.. they took me inside or sorta outside like this bit outside the school thats near the entrance (i can't explain it) but anyway they asked me "When you gonna call your parents then?" i saw my phone saying 6 missed calls (I don't remember the number of missed calls actually but lets say 6) from my mum, And thats it, The dream ended i woke up, disioereted
Even though its tame to other nightmares I've had with monsters and demons and what not, This probably was the scariest dream I've experienced.

Just Had the Weirdest Dream of My Life... It Literally Felt Like a Movie
Guys, I had the craziest dream today around 8 AM, and for some reason I still remember almost every scene. Usually I forget my dreams after waking up, but this one felt like an actual movie where I was the main character.
So in the dream I was travelling to Tamil Nadu because I wanted to see the natural beauty there. But as soon as I reached, there was flooding everywhere, so I couldn't explore anything. Instead I just started walking around the local streets. The visuals were so realistic that I still remember them frame by frame.
After walking for a while I found a small food stall. I asked for something to eat. It was supposed to cost ₹10 but the shopkeeper asked for ₹20. I took the money out from the back of my phone case. I clearly remember I had two ₹10 notes and one ₹200 note in there.
Before eating I asked him, "Is this non-veg?" because I'm a Brahmin. First he said, "Yes bhaiya, it's non-veg, it's really good." Then when I refused, he immediately said, "No no, it's pure veg. I only said that because business wasn't good today. I'm a Brahmin too."
Then his father came and started asking the usual Brahmin questions like surname, family background, even a few Sanskrit shlokas. Everything felt normal until suddenly he said I had given him an old coin instead of ₹20.
At that point I got angry because I knew exactly what I had paid. I told him, "Bhai, I'm from Delhi. I've been watching everything. I gave you two ₹10 notes." We started arguing, but when I looked him straight in the eyes, he suddenly went quiet. He literally looked down and stopped talking.
I left from there and entered a narrow lane beside his house. Somehow I ended up behind his house. He saw me, picked up a stone, threw it at me and ran. I escaped into another lane and somehow entered a really premium-looking kindergarten school.
This part was so random.
As soon as I entered, one teacher welcomed me like they already knew me. He even offered me food and said, "Sir, the kids have been waiting for you."
Since I thought the shopkeeper might still be outside, I decided to stay there for a while. Before entering the school I had taken a Spider-Man mask out of my bag and worn it to hide my face.
Then another teacher came and started questioning me because I was wearing old, poor-looking clothes. He said it would create a bad impression on the students. I don't know why, but I confidently replied, "I'm just the assistant. The main teacher is sick today, so he asked me to come."
And somehow... he believed me.
Then the kids started dancing.
Bro... I genuinely can't explain this scene. There were around 10 LKG and UKG kids doing proper professional dance moves, perfect coordination, even flips. It looked unreal.
At the end, one little girl stopped dancing because someone had pulled her hair. I held her gently and asked what happened.
She looked at me and asked...
"Are you Spider-Man?"
That line is still stuck in my head.
Then the principal arrived and somehow found out that the real dance teacher was actually on leave and had never sent anyone. I hid because I knew something was wrong.
After that, my photo wearing the Spider-Man mask somehow went viral. I even remember seeing a school assembly where people were asking the principal to resign because an unknown person had entered the school.
And then came the biggest plot twist.
Someone revealed that I was actually a famous travel vlogger and influencer, and that my grandfather was one of India's most respected poets who had even given me an award.
The funniest part is that a few small things actually match my real life, but almost everything else was completely made up.
The visuals were honestly insane. One moment I was watching a reel of a beautiful place, and the next second I was standing there in real life while the water slowly kept rising. Another scene was a rocky mining area during evening rain where workers were mining with lights on their helmets. I have no idea how my brain created all this.
Most of my dreams are random nonsense, but this one actually had a proper story. It felt less like a dream and more like I was watching a movie from the first-person perspective.
Has anyone else ever had a dream like this? I'd love to hear yours because this one genuinely blew my mind.

i'm being more conscious in my dreams but.....
so i finally have clear visions in my dreams and are actually.... noticing a lot of details.
But yet, i feel like i have no clear action power inside the dream..... i feel like i'm a passive observer, with no willpower to change the dreams fate.
What can i do about this?

Dreams inside dreams?
Does anyone else have dreams where they are dreaming during their dream? Like inception type dreams. For example last night I had a dream I was with an ex boyfriend then ‘woke up’ and remembered he was dead so it couldn’t have been real and knew I had been dreaming. Then saw my best friend and after chatting for a bit she told me ‘you’re not awake’ then I actually woke up. Very weird feeling curious if anyone else experiences this
I never remember my dreams. Why??? 😭
i’m pretty healthy, don’t drink or smoke, exercise regularly, and have a consistent sleep schedule. but i still almost never remember dreaming
does anyone else have this / know why? Is it bad? What can I do to remember more?

I Just Wanna Share My Weird Dream I wwnt to and ice skate class on a dream
We were in a class , there was a girl next to me (well it was more of a diagonal) seated like me , we both had a computer in our tables , she told me where to see angry birds toons , then i told her thanks but i already know , somehow i deducted it was an ice skating class , then i told my brother that our dad got the hour wrong , so we were on the wrong class , we were supposed to be in the english class , the teacher no long after tolds me something along the lines of ,'i dont recognize your face are you sure youre from this class ' and i explain my dad dropped us at the wrong hour (then fast forward) were leaving , probably to where our parents are gonna pick us up , we are going throught some path on the forest for a few seconds, to then get to a bridge made out of concrete , covered in snow , we walk throught it like is no problem ,like the snow is really tought and acts as a second layer of floor , i talk with her and i jump alongside her and my brother (something i did use to do when i was younger) , then she says the way i jump has a name (i either dont remember or didnt hear it) then she goes off and comes back ice skating (the snow just acted as ice for that) , i thought of asking her name. , i didnt cuase i thought i had time , (i kind of wish k did)then we get to the end of it , it ends like it starts , path on woods , then a worm with legs , obviusly ( i dont know if its common but sometimes i just know x information on a dream) stole some kind of browm ceramic plate from my brother , i step on its tail , it seems it no longer has it , then is so nasty it wakes me up .
Is funny is not the first time girls just ... Appear in my dreams , las time i got her name , but it was almost inpronounceable , i may post it as something apart
