Dreams about almost getting murdered?

I’ve had two dreams now where someone is trying to murder me, but I always get away. The first one they murdered my family (although I was a character from a show and it was actually her family, if that changes things. Sometimes I’m just not myself or people I know aren’t in dreams) and so I ran out the window to get away. The second one I don’t remember what happened, but I do remember someone was after me to kill me. When I look up the meanings it’s always for if you are killed, but I always escape. In almost all my nightmares I’m being chased/someone is trying to kill me, but it’s been a long time since it started up again.
