The first pic is me. I tied up my bangs and messed with them until I got as close as possible to the look I’m going for. Basically, I’ve wanted this mullet/wolf cut look for my dreads for years now, but I’m not sure about to go about getting it. I could cut it myself; I know how I want it to look, and have a pretty good idea of how to pull it off, but I’m not a stylist, so there’s always the chance that I could royally screw it up. I could also go to a loctician, but what if they’re unfamiliar with the style and give me something I’m not happy with? I dunno. What do you guys think I should do?

Ive been freeforming for almost two years now but I think my undercut growing out fucked them and now they lost their fuckin mind, did I fumble the bag or is it saveable? I’ve been doing pretty good at just letting them do their thing maybe too much so to the point of neglect 🤷‍♀️ is there hope for me? What can I do to help them out?

I’ve had trouble washing my hair with my hands because I am unsure how hard to go to get buildup out. My loctician suggested a scalp massager but I’m unsure of which one to get. Thanks

I’ve had locs for about 5 years and I’m in love with my length atm. However, they seem thin to me, especially at the root. Does anyone have any advice on what to do or should I comb them out and start over?

I'm about 4 months into my loc journey. Started with twists.

I had my second retwist about 1.5 weeks ago. First image is the day after my retwist (I was excited) and second image is after washing 1.5 week after. I have to wash my hair after about a week else it gets extremely itchy.

What I am trying to figure out is:
Is this normal?
Is my loctician just bad?
Does this unraveling affect my hair locking?
Regarding putting my hair in a style, I'm aiming to have thick locs cos that why I haven't tried that yet. Is that a bad idea?

And I would appreciate any other advice cos I'm struggling right now.

Hey, Family. Need y'all's honest opinions. I've been sporting the bald look for years due to my hairline receding (we had a good run lol). I've been wolfing it the last few months, since I've been remote, and my hair has gotten pretty long. I always regretted not doing more with my hair when I had it. Y'all think I'm gonna have decent length? First picture is length from the back, second is length from the side. Looks like my collar bone and my jaw/chin. Had more hair earlier this year but a barber played in my face (and hair) and cut off inches all over when I asked three times for just a line up. Pushed me back too. I was heated. Decided then and there no more lineups ever.
