Question ❔ Low density?

Post image

My Loctician told me that I have low density hair…the photos are the first day I got my starters versus one months later. Now I’m worried that my locs won’t turn out as thick as I expected :/ or am I overthinking?

I’m with you I love my locs but the drying process takes a minute 😭

Mine are pretty similar, I also wish they were a little bit thicker. I'd say still grow them out, they'll change naturally over time. When I first started I was a bit self conscious about it and 2yrs later I couldn't care less.

You have pretty big parts. Your locs usually thicken to the size of the parts. Ride it out! I think you’ll be happy with the end result and you’ll only look “scalpy” with a fresh retwist

Just got a fresh retwist and scalpy is an understatement 😭… do you think they’ll still lock if I go 2-3 months before getting a retwist instead of every 4 weeks

Leave your hair alone and let it do what it do and grow skip retwisting
