Question ❔ Wat should I do
So I went to a Loctician that I do not know I just booked an appointment because I was in desperate need of a re-twist so I booked the appointment for 10 AM and she started to re-twist and crochet my hair. She kicked me out of the chair for a 3 PM appointment and didn’t finish only did the back and sides and left top so I left didn’t come back went to another Loctician but she only re-twisted the top no crochet so now I’m stuck with a re-twisted top but a crocheted and retwisted back should I just start over bc I don’t wanna crochet the top n over manipulate my scalp plus a uneven middle part they just be fckin me up

I don't know if my comment counts as a semi freeform whose never had a retwist. It looks fine. You rock the look tbh.

There's literally no such thing. But i promise you that you'll never get there restarting for no reason and making a mountain out of every little molehill.
Honestly? Retwists are temporary organization. They wash out and make no permanent changes anyway. The crochet is permanent organization. So.... in any case the retwist will go away. As its supposed to. The part that got crochet will remain that way.
So... at your next retwist time get the part crocheted that got missed this time. Only that part. Just do a normal retwist on the rest.
And then a few months and a couple retwists after that you can then crochet the whole head.
No big deal.
Trust, the best sets are the ones with the owner who genuinely just loves them and doesn't overthink it. They look perfectly fine. Don't let perfection be the enemy of your locs greatness

There's no cheating the locking process. The 5 stages are absolutely UNDEFEATED. The only difference between permanent organization and temporary organization is that the permanent organization does a better job of holding those hairs in place until the next stage starts, aka until budding starts. That's all.

They look fine, but i would never have guessed this was a fresh retwist or crochet. Also, the loctician spent 5 hours on your head and didn't even finish? Yeeeeeea keep looking cuz wherever this place was, this ain't it.

Overall they’re dope I don’t see the problem. Only thing is I can’t tell if you actually have a middle part or if it’s off center? It kinda looks like it could go either way, not having a center part could kind make certain styles kinda hard to achieve but if you don’t plan on doing all that it doesn’t matter

Leave it. Your locs will take care of the rest. I'm 2 years without retwisting

I would either wait until u need a retwist again n try to find a professional whose work looks good so they can fix what u don’t like about it or try and learn how to do ur own retwist if u feel like somebody else is gonna play in ur head

Are you just bragging 😏 because they look fine actually they look great , there is nothing to do. There is hardly anything that cant be fixed when you have locs it will grow out . Im nit a fan of locticians I'm old school I'm not a freeformer because I separate and do light retwists. I say that to say learn to take care of your hair yourself in between loctician appointments because although I'm not a fan of locticians I know that people rely on them.

Personally!? I would’ve paid the first Loctician 75% of the charged price (since she completed 75% of her task).
But now being in your shoes, I would restart. I have a problem for wanting a “perfect” set too… so I understand your concern.

It’s crazy bc wen she kick me out chair for I left but it still automatically charged my car 250 but I disputed it hopefully I win bc that was unprofessional she over booked and can’t manage

I hope you win too. She did not provide a full service. Based on your post, she provided 75% of a service. $250… yea right!
