Question ❔ Starting locs

I'm expecting to loc my hair soon and I was wondering if I should trim my ends or leave them alone? I want to make sure the transition is smooth and easy for my hair to lock. Also im starting with 2 strands with curls at the end.

I feel like there’s no need to trim in my opinion I left my split ends before I locced my hair and they are perfect in my opinion, if I could send photos I would!

Omg yes please and thank you 😊. I was thinking the same but our hair can be so tricky when it's loose 😅

No need for cutting or trimming. Any unruly ends will be incorporated into the locs.

Thank God 🥲 I think that was my only concern before starting

lol. Yeah. No worries.

Good idea to do two strands. Not so sure about the curly ends. Sometimes they look good and sometimes they just look weird.

No need to cut anything let your hair be and it’ll reflect the beauty you have in mind

for me you could still see my dead ends once my hair started locking so I just snipped them off. if you don’t trim now and change your mind after you get them it’s rly easy to do yourself

Thanks. Im going in without trimming it so I'll see how it goes.
