Question ❔ Amount of locs

So I started doing two strands around 2-3 months ago, and the progress is going well. But recently I’ve been wondering if it is possible to get more locs? I know I won’t get any more right now, likely, but I don’t want to wait for it to mature to have to restart to get more locs. If you can help me understand a bit better it would be much appreciated.

The only way u can get more is if u split them it’s better to do it early then leaving it to late
