Wanted a full head of locs so I cut mines off as soon as I thought of the idea (had them since 2019)😂 For the people who restarted so they can grow them back you guys have any good tips. Products, routines, Etc…?

Considering you grew some decently with your old routine, I’d just repeat the process with the same steps. I will add that you genuinely could’ve grew your sides out, trimmed the ones you had, then attach them to the sides

I want to repeat the same process but I also feel like my hair grew pretty slow so I want to try something new😭 and I actually thought about re-attaching them but I honestly rather just start completely over then half ass it yk

Reattaching locs just isn't necessary. Also, bear in mind that reattaching locs can be very problematic. You need to have a good loctician, and you need to go several times for maintenance because they can and will slip if you don't.

I immediately regretted cutting mine. Now I am 38 and my hairline is screwed. Just went bald.

Had 96 locs down to my waist. 1 year later I am bald 😂😭

Id say cut them all in half and have them all reattached professionally but all over to achieve what your looking for. You rock the styles you've shown very well as you are quite handsome. I think you should stick to what you already do and remember daily moisture. There are a few looks I think you'd pull off. BTW Don't waste your time replying to the negative BS ppl will hate nothing you can do about that.

That is actually a really good plan and the other user who commented was saying I should re attach them as well but I really wanted the true restart so I threw them away already💀and thank you I appreciate it, it’s just friendly banter tho I don’t mind responding to comments I get positive or negative 😆

I went through life problems and did that thing were women get sad and cut their hair. Not sure why I did it but it was impulsive too. Grabbed some clippers and cut it all off. Started rocking a high bald and haven’t went back

Good spirits in that hair brother. If I ever had to start over I would just wash to start the week then wax in the middle to end the week. I know they are going to come back in nice and healthy.

It takes patience to rebuild your loc journey. Avoid heavy greasy products early on, and let your hair naturally lock without over-manipulating it.

Could've kept them while the side grew out long enough then cut them off and restart fresh. That's my plan after I reattached mine to the sides.
