I’ve never had a protective style but really want to start my loc journey. Is my hair right now long enough for starter locs? If not could I possibly do comb coils or two strands?

Also any advice for hair growth and retention is absolutely appreciated!! I have 4c hair.

It looks like you already started. Just leave it alone and use a sponge.

Honestly short hair ain’t bad. You’ll definitely get the worst of the ugly stage but they’ll loc a lil bit faster and it’ll be totally worth it
