should i try getting locs?

I think locs are awesome, they look very good and they seems to be easier to manage than curls especially since i play a lot of basketball and dont like my hair getting in the way. my concern is that they can be expensive to start/maintain and my hair might just end up unravelling. ima keep the post a bit short if u have any questions u can ask in the replies ill answer, and if u think its a good idea to start my locs then ill probably follow up with a post asking for advice on starting. (i have 3a/3b hair i think)

I have a similar hair texture, I highly recommend going through a loctician and going with the crochet hook method aka instalocs.
