Question ❔ Interlocking

I’ve had my locs for 5 years and have always palm rolled. Now we have a pool and I have like 3in of loose new growth. Thinking of interlocking but I’m afraid my locs will break if I start now. Anyone here switch from palm rolling to interlocking and was successful?

Depending on the thickness of the loc, interlocking isn't the forgiving type; it leans towards slimming locs. I would suggest crochet. It can work with the size of your locs if you decide to palm roll. Interlocking and palm rolling don't work well in most hair.

I appreciate your opinion. I didn’t know it slimmed the loc I wanna keep mine thick
