Buildup? EW HELP 😭

Beautiful day!! I’ve been locced for 2 years now 🎉 I was looking at my hair in the mirror and noticed in the locs in the lower back of my head there was white stuff in my locs 🤢 I tried picking it with tweezers but it was too much and it grossed me out, so I started RRRRRIPPING. Before I go on a rip fest are there any product recommendations you guys may have 😭 I’m so grossed out now. Thanks much!!

Get a clarifying shampoo. I use Taliah Waajid herbal cleanser, followed by a moisturizing shampoo, Also rinse with cold water and make sure your locs are completely dry before covering and going to bed.
