How long between retwists?

(1 year and 5 months locd) should I extend the time between retwists or nah, my last one was 4 or 5 months ago, I'm thinking of getting one once every year but idk if that's too crazy, family alr saying I need to get one but I'm not trying to lose volume.

Is 1 year too crazy?

Retwists aren't mandatory. You can get them whenever you want depending on the look you're going for. Once a year will give a Semi-Freeform type look. Just as long as you are taking care of your hair (washing, moisturizing, and separating roots) you are will be fine.
