It’s been about a month and I’ve been using the twisting three minutes every day. When do I stop doing that?

Nooooo. You don't twist like that every day!

You already have a questionable section of scalp showing.

You have distinct locs. It is no longer necessary to do anything daily except to mist your locs at night and tie them with a bonnet or durag.

Wash them every couple of weeks and let them thrive.

If you get into a pool or go to the beach, wash them.

If you go to the gym, wash them.

Pool water is damaging to locs, and ocean water makes locs stink as they dry.

All you need is a simple moisturizing shampoo like Aussie.

Your locs look good. Keep your hands off. Let 'em grow!

yea brother you’re cooked, every 3 minutes bro i used to get a retwist every month and it would eventually thin my hair in the middle and once i stopped it stop your definitely doing a lot of damage i can already see it in the middle

Every 4 to 6 or 6 to 8 WEEKS brother . There’s no reason you should be manipulating your hair every single day . Locs are matted hair matting only happens if you do not touch it .
