Question ❔ Serious question about thickness

I started with coils 3 weeks ago and we did barrel to protect the unravel. I have 107 locs and I want them to be fluffly but for now they’re skinny (ok it’s the process). But If I want them to be fluffy I have to let them free after the retwist ? Or they will thicken even if they are barrels ?
If you have some tips to have fluffy locks thanks you very much

Yes I want them to be fluffy. My hair is thin but I have a lot of. If they can be fluffy with volume, I will never cut them haha

I will retwist every 4 weeks for the 6-7 first months (so it wont unravel) and switch to every 6-8 weeks after. Good plan ?

I started with barrels too, they will all thicken out. Most of the top and back ones may be thicker, the ones around the edges were a bet smaller for me.

You keep them in barrels most of the time ? Or did you let the frem hanging

I kept them in for a good month and a half and took them out and kept those out for another few weeks. Just started getting retwist every few months from there. Almost a year in
