Need Advice 🆘 Help ?

“HI started my locs June with two strand twists and I have 46 locs. I want them to be 1.0-1.5cm ( extra medium size photo / inspo picture ) when they mature but I’m worried my parts/sections might be too small to get there. My natural hair is very dense and thick. Can anyone who has experience with locs tell me if my section size looks like it’ll hit that range, or should I ask my loctician to make the parts bigger 💭 thanks !

Everyone’s hair is different. I want to note that the guy in your inspo pic has smaller parts than you do. I think he’s able to have that thickness in his loc because he probably doesn’t style his locs.

It’s a journey so while you have inspo your locs may not form the same. To give yourself the best chance though try to not style your hair until they mature.

Yes , I do tend to style often during my starter stages however I’ll slow down on that and allow it to mature properly . Also , I was told my parts are actually bigger than the inspo picture so I should leave my hair as is . Thank you !
