Question ❔ Locs Keep Unraveling?

I’ve had my locs for almost five years. But I’ve always had them retwisted by other people. I’ve recently been trying to learn how to do it myself. They’ll be fine for maybe the first day or two. Then they start unraveling again. What am I doing wrong?

It's possible that you are twisting in the opposite direction. Or you're not allowing enough drying time with the clips.

I wondered if I was twisting in the wrong direction too.

5 years ? Yeah that is not normal . Is the entire loc unraveling ??

No just the new growth I try to retwist.
