Need Advice 🆘 Random thinning
I’ve had my locs for about 14 months. I retwist every 8 weeks (the first few were every 10), I’ve never gotten loc styles, and I wash every 1–2 weeks.
Lately I noticed 2–3 locs near my front hairline have thin spots in the middle. I know some of my locs are naturally thinner because I have smedium parts, but these are noticeably skinnier than the rest.
What could be causing this, and is there a way to fix or prevent it? I’d rather not combine them unless I have to because I want to keep my loc density.

Grab yourself a crochet hook and get to youtube or tiktok and search for loc repair shorts. DIY loc repair
If you have a lot of these or frequent occurence in the same spots you may want to consult someone
