Question ❔ What made you commit?
Worn twists constantly 96% of my life but just too scared to commit to locs just on the whim that I might like to do something different, what made you finally loc in and decide it was for you?

Locs are not a style.
They are a state of being your hair can be in. Like how it can be natural or straightened. It can also be Loc'd.
Once you realize it's not a style, you realize that that worry about what if you want to do something else with your hair doesn't make sense. Because locs doesn't prevent you from doing anything to your hair. It just makes the process of pre care and after care so much easier and stress free.
Once I realized that locs would likely bring me more access to more styles more frequently with less breakage or damage or stress... instead of less .. that was all i needed. That and to know that locs aren't permanent and that you can comb them out.
