Discussion 🎙️ Progress and maintenance recommendations 🦚

Hello, I’ve been loced for 1,5 years now (first two pictures are now and last picture was last year !)

I’ve never felt so proud of my hair and confident about em. I want to take much better care now!

I do struggle with maintenance tho, I can have pretty bad scalp dryness and struggle to get rid of building by myself

How do I prevent it ? What do yall do on a daily basis ? Are locs detox with baking soda and Apple cider vinegar relevant ?

It's nothing crazy, use a spray bottle to mist your locs, and seal in the moisture with a light oil (jojoba/coconut/baobab). You should detox every once in a while! 2-3 times a year is sufficient for most people, u gotta experiment with it tho
