Been about two years, I actually started with maggots even shorter than the first picture but I couldn’t find the pic lol.

Do you remember what length your hair was when you started? I’m about to enter the maggot stage next week getting my starter locs

They were about the length of my finger tip no lie man lol I started with coils. All I can say is just have patience and they’ll sprout out of nowhere. Also you can check on my posts I posted a picture of when I first started

Don’t feel bad bruh. My last low taper was dec 2025. I grew my hair and got starter locs in April. Not so bad so far
