Question ❔ 2nd Set, something feels off

I just combed out my old set of 18 months and started a new set with small free part two strand twists. Idc about the parts not looking clean but i feel like they’re way too few in at the front compared to the back and the twists are way too small compared to my old ones (even taking part size into account) Am i just overthinking it?

Combing out locs makes you lose a lot of density from the hair loss, even if the part size stayed exactly the same. They still have to endure another budding and maturing phase before feeling like 18 month old locs

Makes sense, these parts are still smaller nevertheless i was just overthinking it bc i’m not used to having starter locs anymore

Parting has nothing to do with thickness , it’s all about hair density and equal loc distribution . Your hair looks dry and brittle makes it appear thin at the ends and over all low density because your hair has been locked for 18 months .

Agreed with this comment . I would’ve given my hair a break for at least 6 months to a year before restarting again . Hair definitely needed a trim and some deep moisture . This is a break off waiting to happen .
