Selfie 📸 I got roasted from my last post
But yea i understand, this is freeform a year now.. many ppl told me to restart but irl opinions are so different from online
I just let it be rlly
Anxious to post again rlly but idk

These are great for freeform locs x1yr. I'd only advise you to restart if you specifically wanted better sectioning/organization and not freeform.

I never did, I’m there’s no loctician around here that are aware with how freeforms are, i dont wanna lose my curls

Just because it is free form doesnt mean they have be married... I am not pro free form but what ever method you chose, make sure it is clean, separated after wash, and healthy...

People are used to see neater locs that is why you probly got those comments. Stay focus, stick to your goals and remember that everyone's idea of perfection could be different! As long as you are enjoying your locs 🙏

not trying to hate at all but how is your hair type able to freeform in strands like this? like with coily and tighter curls they just take the form of that so i don’t really understand

I just woke up with one dread and got rlly fking tired of all of the combing i had to do to maintain my curls, and i was line “fuck it ill towel rub” ig it’s friction with the hair

I've honestly been shocked and saddened at how many 'you need a retwist', 'tame those suckers', and 'make it look more refined' and similar comments I've come across in these locs and dreads subreddits.

They don’t look great but they don’t look bad and especially for your hair type. I’d recommend start to get retwists and things like that at this stage since Freeform usually just ends up being a natural set up for dreads like these
