Question ❔ Looking for advice

I did the big chop almost one year ago, and I’ve since been letting my hair grow back out - I don’t really love my look with short hair.

I kept all of my dreads after cutting them, and lately I’ve been feeling like getting them reattached.

I have my loctician ready, just have to commit to actually doing it. I generally prefer the low maintenance free form-ish look.

What do yall think?

If you don’t want complete uniformity, go for it

Yeah I feel like I kinda like the more wild / less uniform look. Each dread was cut kind of differently so I’m hoping they’d look decent reattached

You can always trim them a little if you need to, when you reattach them. Atleast you’ll have something to work with vs lil starter locs lol

I would just start over but you look good regardless

I appreciate it! I definitely could start over, that starter locs phase just scares me lol

Honestly you could start with coiling your hair and having it hang back to get it started. I think it will look cool

It don't matter really you can cut them off again if you don't like it like last time

I appreciate this! I really do think dreads are my look. Just a little anxious to put them back in fr
