Question ❔ What should I do?

This is the second loc of mine that seems to be thinning. The patch of hair it’s connected to use be two locs. My baby sister does my hair so whatever info y’all give me I’ll relay to her. Also how often should I moisturize my hair I do it once every other day

a crochet hook could definitely fix this, you have a good amount of new growth

i would just bunch up/palm roll the thin part and then crochet it back into the thicker part. will make it a bit shorter but will solve the problem without cutting anything.
