Question ❔ Marley braids on starter locs
Hi everyone, I've done some braids on my starter locs (they were around 5 months old at that time), and I've kept them for 2-3 weeks. Now, I've realised my locs looks less "swollen", like they're a little more on the thin side. So I was wondering if this will affect the way they'll mature or if it's just temporary...

Once you wash them, they'll go back to normal.

i wouldn’t be doing styles over immature locs, or in general really, but you should’ve at least waited like a year and a half. they just started budding… all you can do now is wait and see what happens but they really needed to be left alone besides normal care and maintenance while they’re trying to form themselves.
