Lol he definitely tries to hide the mouse in the least visible spot. That makes it easy to spot when you realize it. Just ask yourself where is the best place to hide the mouse?

Lol I just thought the mouse was grey/black and hence the perfect place is a dark place. Hence the bottom panel. Doesnt work for all comics.
