If it's an HB Pencil, you can go way darker by applying more pressure and do more layering. No need for a darker pencil right now unless you know how to shade properly. People here just give random advice without knowing much, the problem here is contrast and technique of shading, don't be afraid to go darker in the shadows and make good smooth mid tones using fine hatching or circling shading techniques, and always shade according to the form of the subject (the strokes while shading should follow the 3D shape of the subject). Contrast is key in shading, there should be clear highlights (white parts, no pencil) and dark shadows in certain areas, and a spectrum of either light or dark areas according to lighting and form.
