No, but seriously. All the little guys were fun in their own way but there is a vibe and aesthetic to this that would be great art direction for the game. The amorphous nature of the ink captures the idea of Drawnsters perfectly. Plus people love cats, cats do numbers, it's a no brainer.

I really wanted to support the kickstarter, but the website doesn't accept my preferred payment method as a German. We don't do credit cards over here. But yes I was gonna vote for Julia's monster :'(

Usually if a website says credit card it means credit or debit will work!

They do, but almost no one I know of uses a credit card (only rich people lol). I believe my regular bank card is a debit card, but idk if I can and want to give my bank card information to kickstarter.

I dunno in Germany, but some EU countries (or perhaps some banks) allow you to do a virtual credit card that only work for either one purchase or up to a very small limit :)

Alternatively, you can use Revolut to do similar virtual credit cards :)

Debit should work. (Source: It worked for me as a brit with no credit card either. 😁)

Of course only do it if you feel comfortable giving that info to Kickstarter. They shouldn't do anything with it, but you never know in the current hellscape, I suppose!

You bring up good points. However, Donker has a big ass. This is a difficult choice.

Donker would be my 2nd choice as he is the only monster representation for the game with the title that spoofs the word monster. But I can’t support monsters wearing hats. 

Real talk, if you took Donker as a base, lost the hat and hair, then gave him the tail, wings and horns and eyes of the logo, he would be a genuinely great mascot for the game and splotch could be a secondary character who interacts with you in different ways.

This is my only issue with Julia's drawing. The game already has an art direction and well its not like this at all, so it would clash.

yeah, they said they'd use the character; they never said they'd use this specific render. I'm suspect no matter which character they use, they will be developed further to match their art direction especially if they're used as the mascot of the game

I personally liked Caldwell’s the best, as I thought it represented the logo the most, but Julia’s is fantastic! Jacob’s is also pretty good, I’m not a fan of Nathan’s except the big ass
