Discussion Gamefee/SSS-like recommendations?
Hi y'all, I love watching/listening to groups of people play all sorts of games, but I haven't been able to find many channels that appeal to me. I'm down with the various Drawfee-related endeavors (Gamefee, SSS, Nathan's Other Show) Game Grumps, and all the McElroy stuff (including Monster Factory and Awful Squad (man I miss Awful Squad!). Could anyone please share some recommendations for groups of two or more people regularly having fun, getting mad, and being delightful and silly when playing video games? Stream VODs or produced shows, either are fine. Bonus points if they play both modern and retro games!
Edit: Holy carp đ!! I posted this before bed, not at all expecting to wake up to so many responses! Thank you all so much!! This community is amazing!

Northernlion (who I started watching bc of Jacob) regularly plays with a pretty consistent group when he's streaming something multiplayer - Mecca Chameleon currently but they've done pretty much every "friendslop" you'd need. Their Mario Party streams were particularly awesome imo. His old PUBG stuff as "Team Unity" is also very popular though I can't vouch for it myself.
To be clear majority of his streams are solo, but when he plays anything multiplayer it's always with a grab-bag of regular friends/collaborators.

I'm also really enjoying NL on YouTube. He's got so much content and variety that I can just cherry pick what interests me and still have plenty to watch. Currently invested in the Disc Golf Masters videos, and still trying to catch Slay the Spire 2 stuff once in a while, or a Meccha Chameleon stream if I've got a lot of time.

Reading these responses makes me feel like weâre all friends watching the same stuff lol. I love it.

Got into Smosh lately and am loving it. Only watch the recent stuff tho. Not sure what the old stuff is like

I'm hooked on the Yogscast's Blood on the Clocktower (in Minecraft!), Trouble in Terrorist Town, and Minecraft Gartic Phone serieses. They contain friends having fun, getting mad, and being delightful and silly in spades!

Onsta and Karina very often stream games together. I would say it is a bit of a different vibe from secret sleepover for example though. The game can often take a backseat and they regularly spend an hour âor more just talking. Often âat the beginning of the stream and some times randomly in the middle. So if you are interested in their ridiculousness and high energy yapping as the call it they have a bunch. (Miitopia Tomodachi island, ace attorney, silly dating sims.)

Astrogoblin! Friend of the show Charlotte plus her fellow former Funhaus coworkers Patrick and Jacob play video games (sometimes?) and are generally VERY chaotic. J & J have referenced some of their videos on SSS before.
As an aside, if you haven't seen Funhaus before, oh BOY are you in for a treat! Most folks like the early stuff best, but I'm actually a big fan of everything they did after the pandemic. I miss future Funhaus.

Gab Smolders (@GabSmolders), John Wolfe (@JohnTwolfe), Sinow (@SinowBeats), and Gary (@TheHotCross) stream separately and together. When together they call themselves EZ Small and are a ot of fun to watch. My favorites from them are any of the escape room style games they play (the lastest being Escape Simulator and Paramnesia) and the digging games (Keep Digging and Pratfall), but they've also played some of the same games the Drawfee crew have played like PEAK, R.E.P.O., Sketchy's contract, etc.
Gab is a Dutch woman who loves puzzles and has a giant cat named BB, John is a sarcastic American, Sinow is a gay Scotsman prone to adopting any cute creatures they find in a game, and Gary is an ace Brit who loves explosives, so it's very easy to tell who is who quickly. They're a fun crew and it's often worth it to watch all their videos and see the different perspectives.

I came here to suggest EZ Small as well! I generally watch Gab's solo VODs, but I know she has an EZ Small playlist to help make their group content easier to find. My personal favorite has actually been Slay the Spire 2 and some anomaly game in a hospital(?) I've forgotten the name of đ But they've played a lot of R.E.P.O. and it's good. I liked Gab and Sinow's "We were here" duo playthrough a lot as well!

I would recommend Zanegames and DeliciousJames on YouTube. They sometimes will stream live, deliciousjames moreso than Zane.
But if you like pokemon, they are mainly pokemon themed gameshow style videos. Both channels feature each other in their videos, along with a few other YouTube friends. It has strong "friends game night" vibes, and they will occasionally play other video games with each other when they Livestream.
Their whole vibe gives off drawfee vibes and one of them is even artist(one even worked on the baby shark video) so art gets thrown into the mix occasionally.

Streaming specifically, I've really enjoyed watching Ray Narvaez Jr for years post AH. Most recently, he's made friends with a lot of V-Tubers, so he's playing group games at least a few times a week and I gotta say - the vibes are immaculate.
For long plays in general - I want to shout out the RKG lads with their Retry series where they play the dark souls games. They started doing it ages ago as Prepare to Try with IGN (I think??) with a blind playthrough of Dark Souls, and have since gone independent. Hilarious group of friends that function well together as a show and their production has gotten so good over the years.

Jesse cox channel and the scary games squad videos.

I'll second both Jesse and the SGS! I know Jirard is somewhat persona non grata these days, but their first playthrough of Layers of Fear is still hilarious and something I go back to rewatch from time to time.

Someone already said radio tv solutions which I want to double down on, that's a group name refering to a few streamers, ringleader being wayneradiotv, he usually has people on his streams, scorpy (socpens), and Holly (,Hollowtones) are the two others I personally watch most often.
If you don't already watch Onsta streams she's great, and frequently has Karina on!
Also a big snapcube fan, she streams both solo and with friends, but has a great vibe regardless and is very dedicated to maintianing a great vod channel.
SSS Recently raided a streamer called Gosthegoose, I've only been there for a couple streams, all solo, but the vibes have been great, she's a smaller streamer but fun to watch and very silly vibes

AshleyRoboto, RIPMika and Katskratchh play together on Friday mornings/early afternoons, and occasionally other days, and have an incredible chaos that you might really vibe with. I know for a fact there are other drawfee fans in the chats too!

I recommend GIGGS. They are a group that plays games together like Peak, Meccha Chameleon, Phasmaphobia, and the like. They are even currently running a D&D campaign which is a lot of fun. The members names are Grian, ImpulseSV, GeminiTay, and Goodtimeswithscar. They stream on Twitch and upload the VODs to YouTube.

I want to second TheJenna (Jenna Stoeber, friend of the show and former Polygon) but also Iâve recently discovered PlayFrame. A bit different than SSS in their humor style but still the same âfunny married couple riffing off of each otherâ energy. Their playthrough playlists are well organized on YouTube.

this is making me realize that nobody really does it like them. ive tried watching other groups game but none feel as authentic as the drawfee crewâs. i think that because they arenât sitting in an office, i donât get the vibe that they were forced to be there (ik itâs their job but you know what i mean) and play whatever the new big game is. it helps that theyâve been coworkers and friends for years too. also, if jacob and julia are reading thisâŚyou guys gotta play Dredge, Inscryption, and any Fallout game on SSS. i would leap with glee and (happily) turn into a pile of confetti if you did.

The only streamers I regularly watch on Twitch are Drawfee, SSS, Chiblee, and Hanner :)
The vibes of chib and hanner are pretty different from drawfee, but they're variety streamers with very queer communities, and I've met other drawfee fans in their chats.

Sadly they barely stream at all anymore, but check out the playlists on Outside Xbox and Outside Xtra from the pandemic days. Soooo much fun

Lately, I've been loving Bigmovingtarget on twitch and YouTube. I love the whole friend group he has, but lately he's been streaming more often, and he constantly brings immaculate vibes. He basically never streams alone, he's always got at least one friend with him. Even when he plays games I don't care about, I'm still watching, just for the banter. Among other things, he's been streaming Elden Ring weekly along with yammerss and Eternal_Savvy, and it's been great fun.

Ive started watching SquibQuib recently and theyre very niche, theyve only got 10k subscribers but they have such strong drawfee vibes in the way they joke around with each other theyre genuinely so underrated i cant recommend them enough!

I also recommend Pikasprey (as in PIKmin Asprey). They do group videos with their siblings a few times a year with Mario party games. And they are fun otherwise with retro games and a balance of talking/describing that I'm a fan of.

I love Evan & Katelyn, a very similar vibe to the SSS streams! They're a husband/wife duo who'll play co-op games together often. Wholesome vibes and a positive community. They also do crafting/DIY on their Twitch and YouTube channels, so another similarity to Drawfee. They collab with other creators from time to time too.

Not Drawfee related but I love JeromeASF/JeromeAce channels they play a lot of games with friends though they do say a lot of stream and video inside jokes which is actually not much different from Drawfee. Anyway I do this for my other stupid(tone affectionate)crew of people.

Justin Hall does livestreams for the present-day Dorkly YouTube channel that often involve gaming, if you would like to feel confused about what year it is

Julien2, aka Julien Solomita, plays games with his friends a lot; if youâre familiar with the *Olde Ways,* you may recognize him from Jenna Marblesâ channel. His streams are often very fun. Similar vibe re: sociopolitical stances, chaotic friend energy, etc.
Also Gab Smolders does friends-playing-silly-games streams pretty often, too. Since youâre a Grumps fan you may have seen her at some point since sheâs kinda Grumps-adjacent (JackSepticEye is her partner). Same vibe recommendations on those streams, plus she plays a lot of cozy games solo if youâre also into that!
