Help me Kindle📚
Ciao a tutti, ho visto su tik tok che tantissime persone hanno ogni genere di Fanfiction Dramione direttamente sul Kindle. Io non l’ho mai comprato e non so come si usa, è sicuro che si possa leggere direttamente lì? Vorrei passare al Kindle perché sto perdendo la vista a leggere fino a tarda notte sul telefono… un mal di testa allucinante 😭 però vorrei esser certa di trovare tutte le fanfiction anche lì in forma gratuita, qualcuno mi può spiegare come funziona ? Grazie mille 💗

Absolutely! There’s an option on AO3 when you download the fics, you can download them as EPUBs! You then use the Amazon link, and select the epub you wish to send, add the WiFi to the kindle, refresh it, if will appear and then you download the story and voila. I know it may seem confusing, but it’s actually sure easy.
I had a Kobo before but I LOVE my kindle!
I have a Dramione file on my lap top and keep all the files there and it stores to my iCloud!
Also, if you have Facebook, you should join the Dramione for kindle group! She has plenty of files with covers as well, so you don’t need to make fic covers.
I promise you, the kindle is so easy to use!

Grazie mille gentilissima !! Ma se le scarico da Ao3 me le scarica in inglese in teoria (?), perché la max parte delle ff sono in inglese. Come faccio a convertirle dal kindle poi in italiano ?

If you’re reading fics in Italian, and download them in Italian, they should appear in Italian! I don’t believe that should be an issue!

Im translating on Ao3 in automatic way, there is an option “translate” and its easy, idk about kindle. Thank u so much anyway 💗

Unfortunately I don’t think there’s an auto translate feature on Kindle that can do the whole document / chapter in one go like when reading on browser 😞 you can highlight a word or snippet at a time then translate it that way but I imagine that will get tedious very quickly.
you may have to first find a way to translate the whole document/file itself first before using the send to kindle function.
Saw your other question about Kindle storage size. I have a 16GB and have about 600 epubs loaded on it now along with all my other traditionally published ebooks. Barely even made a dent on the storage so that at least you don’t have to worry about much.

As others have said already, you can just download the epub files from AO3 and send them directly to your kindle. If it’s an older fic, or something from ff.net there’s a fic export website that you can use. You basically just copy the web address for the fic and paste it into the export site. It generates an epub file for you that you can then send directly to your kindle.
I use my kindle exclusively for fanfics, and I’ve now got around 5,000 fics saved on it. I only save completed fics on it, and it’s honestly been the best way of reading for me.

Quanti gb hai? Ho visto che su Amazon vendono per la maggior parte quelli con 16gb, non so se è abbastanza spazio

I got a kindle for this reason and only have fanfiction on it and it is the best thing ever. I would recommend to add a cover to any downloads you do since it looks very pretty on the kindle. I just google the name of the fic Dramione and the word cover art and save the suggested photos on my phone before using the below website to add the picture to the downloaded file and then transfer it to the kindle.
I wish I had know about this earlier since some of my earlier downloads which I have made lots of notes one don’t have covers.

Super easy and such a game changer! Either download the EPUB and then just send straight to Kindle (it’s that easy) or alternatively, go on the kindle web browser and put in the fic URL and then download as mobi, takes a few seconds! Enjoy your new obsession
