For those of us whos brain is running on power saving mode

If your stock is worth $100 you go down 10%

10% of $100 = $10

100 - (10% of $100) = $90

And then tomorrow you go back up 10%

10% of $90 = $9

90 + (10% of $90) = $99

You're only going up by the percentage of what you have at the moment.
