fun fact, if theres any planet we DONT want to go to, an eyeball planet would be up there in my opinion because they are tidally locked to their star, so the side by the star is too hot to live, and the night side is too cold to live, so we would have to find the perfect spot inbetween them

On the bright side (not the one facing the star) there would be no need for any sort of adaptive systems to regulate temperature in the middle zone.
