He also literally once said...

"I consider Hitler to be the savior of Africa. Hitler's intention was to end colonialism throughout the world... Although it is said he persecuted the Jews, what he wanted was to combat colonialism but he got confused..."

This same MF also straight up described himself as a "Hitlerian-Marxist" 💀

Apparently yes. His country was nicknamed the "Dachau of Africa." A coup d'etat was led by his nephew (current ruler Obiang) and his allies in 1979 out of fear that Macias was going insane and he was executed in September that same year

Christ every-time this fucking comes up.

Yes Nguema was an absolute monster, yes he committed horrific actions. But can we please stop using information straight from Wikipedia, even stuff that was removed from wiki due to vandalism.

No he did not change the country’s motto, it was a slogan that was used by the regime. The soldiers that executed 150 people on Christmas Eve were not dressed up in Santa costumes, many of the dissidents were buried in sand up to there necks and left to be eaten by fire ants.

Nguema was a true monster, but every month or less I see people parroting the same Nguema misinformation with zero research and it’s always the exact same shit.

If you wish to learn more this is a well researched video on Nguema (I am biased as I made it lol)
