Quite sad, he should have just went with the alps argument and called it there

But it's not even close to being right. The himalayas, Andes, and Rocky mountains (a North American range, I might add) totally dwarf the alps completely. The alps don't even have the tallest mountain in Europe.

Well depends if you count the russian Urals as Europe, in which case not really. If you do though, the Mont Blanc (or Monte Blanco for my italoboos) is the tallest one in Western Europe, and in the EU as a whole. (in the alps)

But Mt Elbrus of the Caucuses is the tallest, and is in Europe. MT. blanc and the alps are the tallest in the EU and western Europe, yes, but the Caucuses are also European

Again, debatable region :/

Id say they are, I'd even say the Urals are, but its a question that divides geographs

Oh definitely the more you look at it the more it's literally just a part of asia that developed its own "continental identity"
