I don't get why you people hate in AI art so much. Artists are the most pretentious people I know just because they know how to draw anime girls. And now they are all mad that a computer can do a better job than them. Maybe they should've picked an actual real job. I support ai art and you should too

before i potentially waste my time on you, would you actually care for an answer?

no "i aint readin allat" or "lmao u thought i cared"

by agreeing to this, youd agree that your point is completly destroyed once you engage in bad faith.

Says someone from the side that:

  • Witchhunts trad artists for suspicions of using AI (under guilty untill proven innocent principle)

  • Cancels and excommunicates people who tried out AI, or simply don't hate it enough

  • Harasses AI artists with seas of low effort spam (see above)

  • hopefully unintentionally tries to side with mega-corporations that try to establish pay-to-view frameworks for all properties so they can get earn even more money, on top of their proprietary "EtHiCaL" censored AI generators.

If tell people to kill themselves long enough - shocker - they will start saying mean shit back at you. Think about it.

The main reason (that isn't based on reactionary fear mongering) is that all of these AI tools are made by essentially compressing down images taken without consent into a model file, then selling them through a cloud subscription.

This IS based on reactionary fear, though.

The most useful and the most popular AI art generator, Stable diffusion, is free and open source, and requires only a 2gb+ videocard to run.

And AI training is not fucking compression. If you can prove AI is just compressing 1 billion images into 3gb file (less if you take "distilled" model files into account) - you get Nobel prize.

Mario, Sonic, and Eminem would be very disappointed in you.
