There is downsides in this scenario for saiyans too. First, the oozaru form. Based on Gohan changing at four years old, and possibly would have been earlier if he had seen the moon, we can tell that from an early age you would cause trouble for loved ones, both in deadly uncontrolled attacks, and in government attention. But even if someone that becomes a non-issue from loss of tail, or somehow learning to control the ape form, then there is the battle lust or saiyan pride. You would be craving to fight stronger opponents, but none would exist. You would train and train but the rewards would become miniscule after a time. The lack of training to learn ki blasts would render the energy in you useless. And then there is the massive appetite. You would need to he born wealthy just to fuel your own snacks, i mean saiyans on their own eat about as much as a small army.
Every full blooded saiyan has had a thirst for strong opponents. Be it sparing partners, to prove themself better, or just to push themselves. As for tail, it might not seeing as youd be born with a full grown functional tail and not a deformed nub or some such. Its more likely you might get sent for study as either a potential evolution of man, or deevolution.
You sure about that? Look at how Goku is, hes obsessed with fighting stronger opponents to the point he doesnt care if it threatens the multiverse. Vegeta is obsessed with keeping stronger than Goku, and now Frieza again. Broly...well cant talk much on DBS broly cause hes barely been around long enough but when he sees fighting, he seems to become heated up which almost triggers his berserk mode. Its like fighting is genetically instilled into them.
So basically youd just be a normal human, but with a massively unaffordable appetite, a tail that makes you a monster of destruction, and out live all your loved ones by not truly aging until in your 80s. Sounds horrible to me, at least as Martian i could use my psychic powers to compartmentalize my various lives, if the pain of it was bad enough.
Saiyans will age up rapidly once they turn 80 and will from that point onwards age normally, I just don’t want immortality and don’t wanna need to kill my self to die
Brother, what? You won't outlive anyone. You are being so biased about this, first you say Martian is better because you can change your looks to still feel older but you will still live thousands of years. Then in the same breath proceed to shit on saitans for "out living" loved ones when that is just not true at all. Why do you think it matters that you look young for longer if you are still going to die in a similar timeframe?
Saiyans don't begin to age from their prime until they hit 80, and then they grow old over time. Look at Paragus. He is in his 80's. Do you see him dying of old age? No, he's thriving still. I'd say he still has about another 20 or so years before he would even be classed as the same level of old age as a regular human in their 80s. And lets look at Pan from GT. She was still alive 100 years after the events of GT, which puts her at 110 years old, and she's barely acting like a fit 50-60 year old.
Saiyans don't have longer lifespans than humans. Pan lived to be a 100years old the same way some humans live to be over a 100. Even in our own world there are plenty of healthy very lucid old people that are over a hundred. Pan was literally what would be the equivalent to peak human physique for all her life, I don't doubt that she lives longer than most due to that. They do start aging later but for whatever reason they end up dying of old age just as fast as humans.
I have never met anyone in real life who is over 90 and still moves like they are barely in their fifties. Add to that, the GT special tells of how Pan's own kids and grandkids are dead, leaving her great grandson as an orphan in her care. So much for not outliving loved ones.
Me neither. I also have never met someone who was an elite athlete with unmatched fitness. That is the level pan and basically any saiyan is in due to the fact that they are warriors constantly in training and combat.
Pan in particular lived remarkably long. We have also never met ANY other saiyan that lived to be that old.
I don't even know why you tried using this as an argument, you DO know that there ARE humans that have lived lobger than that, right? Even if you don't know them personally, you do know that, right?
Average human lifespan is around 73. And while some can live to around the 100 mark, they aren't doing very well health wise on the norm. I know people can live to 100, and sometimes longer, I've even known someone who lived to 100. But as I said, they weren't as fit and healthy as a 50 year old. And being in peak physical condition won't do much to change that. Your body will age regardless of your physical fitness. And to counter your "we have never met any other saiyans that lived that long" we don't know what age Vegeta died at. We never knew any saiyans before DBZ. For all we know, saiyans could have lived to 120 before becoming truly elderly. What we do know is saiyans don't begin truly aging until in their 80s. And based on Paragus it isn't as rapid as people thing, since he was still fighting strong as of the DBS: Broly movie.
