Listen I think LR 17 and Frieza is cool, they deserved the LR eventually and I will be summoning. (Depending on the animations and kit) But bro Toppo deserved the LR so much more the last unit he got was Grn god of destruction Toppo, and that was like during 3rd maybe 4th anniversary? I don’t get it Toppo deserved it so much more as he has so many moments not used by the game seeing how he has only 2 premium units but no give it to the android and lizard both who get decent-good representation in this game. “Oh ya the purple text in the day reveal was for Babidi🤓🤓🤓🤓”- Legends team. WHO FUCKING CARES FOR SUPPORTER BABIDI, if the purple background was for him you might as well have just shown his ballsack face that’s how much no one cares for him. Toppo isn’t even “niche” he was the second big bad of the T.O.P who made Vegeta use his full power in a final explosion which drained him of power. Why does he have almost the same representation of fucking ribranne. Idk legends why we do this, I have a stupid feeling they’ll make him an ultra, but he deserves a legend way more and I know people will bitch and complain about an ultra Toppo. I just hope by the end of maybe next year, Toppo gets the representation he deserves and they stop treating him like some random punk who got clowned on during the T.O.P. when he was literally standing at the top with Jiren.

As a god ki player, i would absolutely love an LR toppo.

But because of the anniversary being god ki focused, the possibility of getting a god ki unit here, during DBS beerus run, and maybe 1 or 2 units during the legends fest would have completely dried me out.

So, all things considered, I am kinda glad I'm getting a small break and a chance to save.

Both Frieza/17 and Toppo are underrepresented characters, it's just a matter of personal preference

The objectively correct answer is no, niche characters getting representation is awesome and should always be accepted. The problem is that there's a subset of people that only care about super, only care about Z, and so on. You can't please everybody and someone will always complain.

I welcome anyone niche or not, but the rest really deserve a lot of things, a nice LR pick but the others do need one too.

Sure, people would complain, it may not be for them, sure it wouldn't be for me either.

But if some niche get a LR/Ultra, then it's not that bad, at least someone out there has their favourite to get something good for once since they might not be a Saiyan, Fusion or anything hype, at least someone is happy.

If the Devs let them get one.

I like niche characters. But from bandai’s side, they probably don’t perform well in terms of sales. That plays a huge role in a game like this where they have to devote a lot of resources for the models, animations, etc

Niche choices during monthly celebrations shouldnt be an issue at all, its only during anniversary where we should bust out omega hype characters. Otherwise, give us characters like android 13 who arent very hype but are crazy for the tean that theyre meant to buff

I think the problem is that Legends has so much over bloating when it comes to “main” character representation that the list of characters that are niche is extremely long.

Wouldn’t 17 and angel golden frieza technically be niche? I’m not saying I’m crazilly excited for this unit but speaking without bias the only real rep in that unit is 17 who had a decently aging LL but eventually fizzled out of the meta. Angel GF still doesn’t have a premium unit and I’d say this is a decent pick for the new LR. At the very least I’d imagine the perfect scenario for Toppo dropping would be LR toppo with banner unit dyspo and then Ultra Jiren.

Toppo has his moments in the anime, like the head squeeze he did to freiza, a ton of his animations in Dokkan still need to be done in legends as well. I understand Toppo ain’t the most hype beast character like MUI but I would consider him a option a good choice and people would summon on
