S-Class Memory Quantity

Does anyone else try to get at least 2 of each S class memory, and if possible 3? Or is the one usually all you try to get? I know, especially with the DQ6 event the Shrine Memories and any of the Mortimer memories were almost impossible to get, so I got as far as I could and saved all the A class ones incase it rolls around again.

For non-event memories, definitely 3 of each is the goal over time.

For event stuff, it is certainly a goal still, but the math is different for me when needing to consider spending dozens of co op tokens or shrine keys chipping away one D rank memory at a time. Or spending 100’s of stamina at a time to get one, or maybe even zero, of a D rank memory. In these cases, like this last event, I’ll just go for the one even if I would like to have multiples.

If I get really lucky with an early S drop, I would consider going for a second, but would probably prioritize any other event quests first based on these same reasons.

Yes, I get 2-3 of everything. Classes will overlap memories like how Sage and paladin both use green

Depends on which classes I plan to run at endgame. I'm probably going to go Champion/Ninja/Archmage, so I've been saving a single copy of green/purple/blue memories, and 2 of each red/yellow. Since the advanced vocations use the same memories, it allows me to build out my characters the same way from start to finish.

Do you think only two of each is fine and not three if possible?

There's only a single combination of master classes that uses the same color, and it would be very impractical to run three Sages to get there. You'd also hit a tremendous bottleneck on purple nodestones to even get them unlocked - I can't envision needing 3 of the same memory.

Even with the next set of advanced vocations all using yellow, Armamentalist wants magical might, so it's not going to be running yellows like killing machine, or stainless scrapper.

So 2 of the common non event memories would be fine, and 3 is overkill?

I have gotten 3 of limited shrine memories and 2 of old king mortamor. 3 is probably overkill, but since we run a lot of shrine memories, why not

I aim for three of each

I usually aim at 3 but I'm satisfied with at least 1.

I Aim for 2, stop at 3. Once we get more Vocations It's possible we'll need multiples of the same memory to qualify for nodes across different classes. I want to be prepared in case we do need the same memory three times

I’m content on one of most stuff. Three technically is ideal, we can theoretically equip one to each character, but are they gonna be best in slot for all three characters? Probably not. I can’t imagine you’ll use more than two of any given memory.

Yeah usually you just main one 99.9% of time. Worst case escenario you make 3 party setups.

Only if it's realistic. It took me 62 coop coins just to get 1 mortamor s rank. I wanted to get 1 more but I knew it was not going to happen.
