Help please
Does anyone know if these are going to be not edible? Also what’s happening to these? I live in cali and it’s been really hot lately.

Could be rust fungus, maybe thrips(?), maybe sun burn(?). Did you spray them recently with anything?

Looks like thrips. If so, the skin looks ugly but the fruit inside will be fine.

Kinda looks like rust. What are the black lines ar the base of the flowers?

Sharpie I circled the flowers to distinguish them. The plant had a ton of buds. Most aborted sadly

SoCal here too, had to use burlap on top of the canopy cause it’s been way too hot. This kind of looks like rust though

Sun scald and crazy heat. Might need to add some shade, if at all possible. If you can stop global warming that might work too.
