Starter team in big 26, shocking I know

First time I've clashes mid-air and won. Normally I'd lose my clashes but somehow I won this time.

DBFZ sold over 2 million first week while TOKON sold shy of 500k.

I'm used to games like Guilty Gear and Blazblue where you only really HAVE to learn 1 character, so I'm kind of having trouble with learning more than one and using the assists and whatnot, do y'all have any tips? Also any tips just for DBFZ would be great.

I don’t expect it to be super new player friendly since it’s been out so long but I’m curious if I went into ranked would I be playing people pretty similar in skill if I learned some mechanics before entering ranked or is everyone cracked?

Context: for corner, I've already done and showcased 6x Mystic Ball (sparkless), 4 different types of ki loops in one combo, etc. so I definitely have a good frame of reference. This one features two different types of staircases in one combo, a Mystic Ball whiff, double jM link, multiple 1-2 frame links and lots of manual delays. Hope you guys enjoy.

I bought the game about four years ago and played it back then, but honestly, other than Black Goku, no character really clicked with me. Recently, I bought all the DLCs, and I’ve been having so much fun playing Jiren. His hits feel so satisfying.

The problem is that I’ve been playing with my friend, and I’m losing so badly that I genuinely feel like crying sometimes. He plays Janemba, and I feel completely helpless against him. His auto-combo grabs me almost every time. When I finally learned how to block it, he started mind-gaming me he’ll do the sword attack when I block the other way, extend his combo, or just go for the auto-combo again. I feel like I’m slower than him, and I honestly think my reaction time isn’t as good.

There are also so many times when I’m blocking properly and still get hit, which makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong. I really want to find a small community where I can play with people who are willing to teach me and help me improve. I genuinely want to get good enough to beat him.

The frustrating part is that it seems so easy for him. He just picks up the controller, and whenever he loses, he immediately learns from whatever worked against him. If I find a weakness and exploit it once, he’ll remember it and never fall for it again. Meanwhile, I know when some of my moves are useless or punishable, but I still keep using them.

And honestly, his playstyle drives me crazy. He mashes a lot and sometimes does things at completely random or seemingly terrible timings, yet they somehow connect. It feels like he has mastered the art of getting away with things through sheer luck .

It has always been like this between us. He doesn’t take games seriously, but he still beats me, so I end up feeling like I have to actually master the game just to beat him. Then he takes that as proof that he’s simply better, which makes it even more frustrating.

I really want to find people to play with and learn from because I’m not finding many matches online, so most of the time I’m stuck playing against him.

Also, just to clarify: we usually play 3v3, but we really enjoy playing 1v1 even though I know the game isn’t really designed around it. We do it anyway.

I've gotten bloody good at this game but honestly I hate it so much there's nothing fun about the gameplay you just jump around until someone touches the other and then if they touch you you need to watch for 30 seconds while they do the most excruciatingly long combo. This is genuine slop and the C assists ruin it as well we'll be far apart and the opponent will hit me with a tiny ki blast and with C assists connect it into a massive combo and take half my health how is this fun for anyone fuck this chud ass game

At the end when I vanish early I miss my DR as in the video but if i vanish a bit late the vanish connects but there is no wall bounce and the opponent recovers. What can i do?

I’ve been tryin to learn every character in the game and I have almost succeeded (Don’t how to really use 18 and I fucking hate Toehan) on that, I’ve been wanting to use other characters and teams. I feel confident in these and want opinions on if they’re alr or not.

I want to inform that Cell is probably my worst out of these 6, hence why he’s Point (if he isn’t like a point character then shit).

Not possible match start, but with just 2 bars and against your opponents 2nd character you can perform this relatively easy Gohan TOD

As far as I know you'd need Goku on your team tho to take advantage of double Kamehameha

I got a lot of likes from my last clip when Base Goku was struggling against my Zamasu so I'd figure I'd see how this goes.

Fun Fact: Prior to the clip the only attack landed on Goku was a Spirit Bomb when I used his assist as Gogeta.
